Tis the season to be jolly alright! Thanks to the fertility meds, I’ve put on fifteen pounds in the past two months. Combine that with holiday festivities, and you have a whole lot of jolliness! Well, at least I know if I get a negative this month, I can strap my butt to the treadmill, visit the doc for some advice, and see a nutritionist.
On tap today, I am going to a lingerie party. It is actually a bridal shower for K. I made sure to pick her up some items that will up her bedroom sizzle factor!
Today is day 20, that would be five days past the insemination. I’m just plain happy to not have hormones pumping through my system that put me in a state where I should have an approach with caution sign strapped to me. By George, I’m happy! Is it the holiday spirit? Is it the lack of hormones? Is it the luteal phantasizing? I’m not sure, but I’ll take it!
Well enough of today’s rambling post. See you later!

Don’t you just love those pounds given to you by the fertility meds?
Good luck with the adoption through foster care!

I am glad you are feeling jolly! I am certainly feeling less than festive this year. Can you send some of your holiday spirit my way?

So glad to see you are in good spirits.
That IF weight is a beotch! Dont have any advice on that one - I’m only losing it now because I’m so busy I dont have time to snack.
I think the foster/adopt plan rocks. We dont really have a system like that up here in Canada or at least not if you want a healthy child. Anyway, getting some essentials is a great idea. And you are so right about having the stuff in the house… it’s a sign of the children to come.
