This and That

So, I did some calculating last night.  If things worked this month my due date would be on Lucky’s first birthday.  Hmmm, coincidence?  Let’s hope so.  I seriously must be insane.  One week to go of the wait.

Lucky is doing much better after his immunizations.  Justin still looks like he was attacked by razor blades.  He’s super sore.  Neither one of them slep well last night, and that means neither did I.  Hence this disjointed post.

The adoption worker came last night, and it was nothing but good news!  While verbally biological mother has relinquished rights, formal t.ermination of p.arental r.ights paperwork is completed.  She will be served next week (as long as she stays locatable that long.)  Court date is scheduled for around the second week in September, with the adoption looking to be final in November.  So things are moving faster than expected.  Yay! 

My brother is coming into town this weekend, and so I expect to spend a great deal of time over at my parents.  I can hear him now, “Hey, let me hold him.  I’m negative twenty days, and that means it’s my turn!”  He’s too funny!
