This weekend will be filled with house hunting, shopping a HUGE children’s consignment sale, and going to a George Jones concert courtesy of Kellie!
Hopefully there will be some fun stories to tell after all of this.

Tomorrow the girls here in Northern Alabama will be getting together for our “support group” meeting. I put that in quotes, because this doesn’t feel like a support group, but more some really amazing women getting together and having fun! I simply can’t wait for tomorrow! See you tomorrow ladies!

Yesterday, Lucky took his first step. Not just one though, he took seven consecutive ones. He paused in the middle to steady himself and then continued. I’ve never seen something so amazing before. Yet, as he walked away from me and into the arms of his grandparents, I couldn’t help but feel so happy and amazed, yet sad. He was not only walking away physically from me, but from his infancy.
Gone is the tiny little guy who needed me for everything. His budding independence is miraculous to watch. At the same time, he is growing at such a rapid rate that I have to catch my breathe sometimes. He’s almost ten months old, and I’m still wondering where time has gone. He also got his knees underneath him while crawling yesterday. He’s not entire dragging himself around on the floor anymore. What a big boy.
Yesterday, I was putting things away in my dresser, and Lucky sat up in my bed and said, “Maaaaaa! Hi!” I was so taken aback. I turned around, and there was my cherub faced little guy looking at me. Somebody please tell me where the pause button is!

I was tagged by Frenchie and Pamela Jeanne.
The rules:
1) Link to the person who tagged you (I did above).
2) Post the rules.
3) Share six non-important things / habits / quirks about yourself.
4) Tag at least three people.
5) Make sure the people you tagged KNOW you tagged them by commenting what you did.
Umm, I am so bad at these things, but here goes!
1. I have to answer the phone if it rings. Even with caller ID. You just never know!
2. I love taking a bath, but I like to get in while the tub is filling. I find hanging out by the faucet with the hotboiling water coming down extremely relaxing. The idea of getting in the tub once it is full is much less appealing to me. This is also the place I go to decompress.
3. I can type 76 words per minute, and was paid in college to type up reports for other students.
4. Once I’m hungry, I’m a beast. If I get to the point where I feel as if I’m starving, I am impossible to deal with. I can no longer figure out what I want to eat, and then the guessing game begins. It’s just best to not let me get hungry, ok?
5. I take ten minute showers. Always have. I get in and take care of business. Lounging around in the warm water is what baths are for!
6. I don’t use the snooze button. Ok, at least in the past I didn’t. Now I have the human version. Trust me, sometimes I miss the option of hitting that button!
