 IVF Details for Eve

1st round of IVF was a bust and nothing to freeze.  Discovered premature ovarian failure at 28.  Made the decision to move on to donor eggs.  2nd round of IVF proved to be a success.

08/04/08 Beta came in at 194.

08/06/08 Beta #2 came in at 515 (at 15 days post 3 day transfer.)

08/14/08 Beta #2 1,686

08/18/08 First Ultrasound, beating heart at 118 bpm.

09/03/08 Third Ultrasound, beating heart at 172 bpm, 2.03 cm, 8 weeks, 6 days.

09/16/08 4D Ultrasound, heart rate 158 bpm, 3.75 cm, 10 weeks, 5 days.

11/22/08 (will have to check that date)- All body parts were accounted for, and it’s a girl!

 3/2/09 Born six weeks premature, but perfectly healthy.  Discharged home from the NICU after one very long and emotional week. 

 Adoption information about Braden…coming soon.  After I dig through archives!

January 2007 start classes with ch.ild prot.ective s.ervices and home study process.

Complete classes in March 2007. 

Braden was born in April 2007, and “placed” with us at 5 weeks old.

Adoption finalized in September of 2008. 

It was a looooong and difficult process.

Braden- 2 Years 3 Months and Eve at 4 months 

The first few pictures of Braden are from when we went hiking.  These were taken a few weeks ago.  Eve is up to 12 pounds 12 ounces.  Why yes, I have lost a bunch of weight.  I lost the 19 pregnancy pounds plus an additional 20.  So, I am officially 39 pounds lighter than I was nearly five months ago.  Whoo hooo!  Plenty of exercise and eating right going on over here.  Perhaps if I’m brave I’ll do a before and after.  Hmm…
